Speaking Of Pretty Bad-Ass Cool Shoes

Found this pair in the new issue of Time Magazine (April 29 - May 6, 2013) and in an ad for The Wall Street Journal. And really, how cool is that...and how cool are these?

More Cool Shoes, Finally (part 1)

I'm gonna see if I can post some more really cool shoes. I've found some very cool shoe Facebook pages and other cool shoes in random locations.

Like the opening credits picture for Necessary Roughness. I love the shoes star Callie Thorne wears here. Not sure who they're by, but they're pretty badass. And she's kinda hot herself. Dishy little thing. Anyway.

I'm a pretty big fan of tall cool shoes. Skyscrapers. One of my cool shoe idols is Christian Louboutin. His shoes are always amazingly cool and usually skyscraper-high. I know many of us mere mortals can't afford his shoes...but if you can? Cool. Like I always say? A closet full of Christian Louboutin shoes is a closet full of heaven.

So I guess I reached the limit of pictures I can put into a single post. I added another Christian Louboutin special with gold spikes on the toe...and it went to a different post. Oddly with virtually the same content as this post. I've added this paragraph to differentiate posts. I should give this post a different title. Or...a part 1 of 2 or something. It may not let me but I'll see what happens.

More Cool Shoes, Finally (Part 2)

Finally posting some more really cool shoes. I've found some very cool shoe Facebook pages and other cool shoes in random locations. This is the second post because I tried loading a bunch of pictures in one post...apparently reached the limit and this went to a second post.

Anyway. So some of the content remained the same. I did edit a little bit of it. And called this post part 2. Hopefully it will let me add some more shoes to the skyscraper gold spike toed Christian Louboutin cool shoe.

I'm a pretty big fan of tall cool shoes. (Skyscrapers). One of my cool shoe idols is Christian Louboutin (in case you hadn't already picked up on that). His shoes are always amazingly cool and usually skyscraper-high. I know many of us mere mortals can't afford his shoes...but if you can? Cool. Like I always say? "A closet full of Christian Louboutin shoes is a closet full of heaven."

Oh...and just in case someone doesn't know your shoe is a Christian Louboutin? There's one available with his autograph on it. How cool is that? Pretty cool. And it's a pretty badass shoe as well. Anyway.

Quickish update April 11, 2013

So. I decided I need to update some of my blogs that have gotten...stagnant. Or maybe more to the point? Have a bit of dead blog syndrome. I just looked at this blog today for the first time in a while and realized it's been almost three years next month since I've even posted anything to this blog. Wow. Way too long.

However...primarily it's been that long because I've started launching most of my new blogs over on WordPress. I officially have nine blogs here on the Blogger platform. I already have seven blogs on the WordPress platform. It would be more than seven, but I still can't launch new blogs from the WordPress Android app I use when posting and updating those blogs. Like the Blogger Android app I also have. (And, I think, can launch new blogs from...)

In fact, my most recent blog there, The Broken Hearted Troubador blog, actually has been getting the lion's share of attention from me. Because I've been writing a lot of very sad songs in the past year since the involuntary conclusion of my most recent relationship.

And I've been trying to post and publish as many of those songs as I can. Not so easy to keep up with, since I tend to write songs w/pen and paper, *then* transfer them to the blog. So I've written about 52 songs in the past year alone, but have only posted 21 of them to that blog so far. Hence why it's receiving so much more of my attention.

But...the real reason I'm here right now? I realize I've continued collecting cool shoe pictures religiously in the past three years and just have not had time enough to post them all, to either of my cool shoe-related blogs. And I really didn't realize it had been so long since I posted any cool shoes to either this overflow pictures blog or the original I Love Cool Shoes Blog. =p

I did make an extremely abortive attempt to at long last launch a cool shoes website. And...shortly after launching it? I basically killed it and abandoned it.

Primarily because I discovered I picked the completely wrong background for it...and then when I changed it to one more appropriate to the whole cool shoes concept?  The old background didn't completely disappear. =p

So...the website looked hideously and badly Frankensteined in a very ugly way and I realized I'd made a mistake trying to launch what had been a dream website on the particular website platform I chose. Dream became kinda a nightmare.

So. And I don't even know exactly where that ugly website even is any more. That's how strongly I abandoned it.

But...As I'm looking at this overflow pictures blog, part of me wants to immediately start updating it with all the really cool new shoes I've since collected in the interim since this. Just not sure how feasible it will be because I've collected so many pictures I may not have space for them all here, either. Double =p =p.

This was also originally going to just be cool shoes overflow from the cool shoes blog...and...I am now realizing maybe I really do need some additional relevant content. Hence this post. Which has already gotten way longer than originally expected, big surprise.

I've also been contemplating launching another I Love Cool Shoes Blog over on WordPress. But, considering the above-mentioned abortive fiasco of my attempted cool shoes website launch? Maybe I should consider not pushing my luck. I think this blog and the other original cool shoes blog may be enough. For now.

And I do think I may revise my original thought about not competing with any of my favorite cool shoes websites. I've been toying with the idea of actually selling cool shoes myself at some point. I have to get my living quarters figured out and my financial situation squared away before I try going into the shoe sales business. But I think it could work for me. Maybe.

I have also discovered many cool shoes Facebook pages recently and at some point might want to do a Facebook page for my cool shoe obsession, too. Ideally one that will tie back into my relevant blogs here on Blogger.

In fact, turns out there are far more cool shoes Facebook pages than I would have guessed many years ago when I originally launched my very first I Love Cool Shoes blog. I've got a feeling mine would probably be the first cool shoes Facebook page launched by a guy...and a straight guy at that.

Maybe. Although I do know/am aware of one or two other straight guys that like cool shoes, too, but maybe not enough to have a blog or two or a Facebook page dedicated to them. I think, so far at least? I'm the only straight guy I know who is so obsessed with cool shoes. Anyway.

More later on all of that.
